Honeysuckle Flowers in Alsager have a new website
Honeysuckle Flowers in Alsager have a new website designed by yours truly. The new design replaces a small flash site containing limited information with a more modern looking one which is easier to navigate and shows off samples of their work more effectively.
Part of the provision of the new website involved producing the photos to populate the finished site. After a two hour long shoot with some frantic flower arranging the pictures have come out great and add lots of colour to the site and contrast well with the company colours, black and silver.
The Tech Stuff:
The site was designed in Adobe Dreamweaver using PHP, CSS and Javascript and uses WordPress to manage the content. Finally I made good use of the Blueprint CSS layout framework to keep everything looking neat and tidy.
The images on the site were taken using my trusty Nikon D90 Digital SLR alongside my portable lighting kit. The photos were then processed and edited in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. The Timthumb.php script was then used to resize and crop the images so that they fit well in the appropriate spaces on the site.
