Today we ventured up to the Blue Lagoon near Buxton. The Blue Lagoon is part of a disused quarry where the water is so Blue due to minerals in the rock. Apart from the sound of birds the place was silent and had an eerie feel not helped by the abandoned, burnt out and submerged cars. Here are a couple of the photos I took of the quarry and surroundings.
